Born January 26, 1918 in Merida, captal of Yucatan. Lived, studied and worked in Yucatan for 25 years. 1930-1933: studied in the School of Plastic Arts of the City of Merida; later, Pacheco painted as well as taught drawing and painting in Merida. 1938: painted murals in rural schools in Yucatan. 1940: Organized the Independent School of Plastic Arts in Merida. 1941: painted murals in four schools in Merida. Made color woodcut posters. 1943: moved to Mexico City. 1944-1948: joined T.G.P; married to Mexican, two children. Illustrated poem Cruz, by A. Barrera Vazquez, with 30 large size engravings, 1948.
