Born February 3, 1919 in Mexico City. He studied in the Open Air Schools of Painting and the National Academy of Fine Arts. Pérez has taught painting and drawing in primary and secondary schools in Mexico City, and is at present (1949) teaching in the National School of Plastic Arts. He was a member of T.G.P. from 1937 to 1941. He has participated in group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States and Cuba.
